VMRO-DPMNE revealed on Wednesday the names of its candidates for the caretaker cabinet: Pance Toskovski, a famous lawyer, as the Interior Minister, Elena Petrova of the Public Revenue Office as additional Deputy Minister of Finance, ex-City of Skopje Secretary and current Cair Municipality Council member Gjoko Velkovski as Labour and Social Policy Minister, Cvetan Tripunovski as additional Deputy Minister of Agriculture, a position he will hold a second time, and City of Skopje Council member Stefan Andonovski, as additional Deputy Minister of Information Society and Administration.
The same day, in an interview with Telma, the party’s leader, Hristijan Mickoski, said miracles couldn’t be perhaps expected during the cabinet’s term.
“Miracles are impossible in 100 days considering all caretaker cabinets have so far been cabinets of conflicts. However, if we manage to enable a natural course for the election process, for citizens to have confidence that it is fair and democratic, that means we will have made it,” the VMRO-DPMNE leader stated.
