The Government condemns the hate speech on social networks towards Greek citizens that were killed or injured in the wildfires near Athens. “We condemn every speech of hatred on social networks related to the tragic events in Athens. As a country Macedonia has mechanisms to tackle the hate speech. Once again we extend condolences to families of hurt ones,” said Government Spokesperson Mile Bosnjakovski. Moreover, he informed the government had formed a coordination body for humanitarian aid for Greece that will monitor the situation on a daily basis and act accordingly. The day before The Government decided to provide 100,000 euro in financial assistance to the Greek government in its efforts to cope with the effects of the wildfires. At Wednesday’s press conference, the government spokesperson informed that there will be no possibility for amnesty, whether direct or indirect, about cases which are in procedure stemming from the so called bombs.
