VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski will propose to his party’s parliamentary group for part of the funds confirmed for his party for the referendum to be donated and reutilised and donated. As he wrote on his Facebook profile, the money should be used for Kiril Pejcinovic Secondary School in Tetovo. “If there is a legal obstacle for that, VMRO-DPMNE will renounce the part for the funds and we will publicly demand for the same funds to be returned to the budget and ask the government to invest them precisely in this Tetovo school,” Mickoski wrote, among other things. VMRO-DPMNE still hasn’t defined a stand regarding the referendum, he stressed. As the VMRO-DPMNE leader underlined, his party, with own forces and means, going from door to door in neighbourhoods, cities and villages, will first hear the people’s voice and then present the final stand. SDSM criticised Mickoski’s plans, urging him once again to voice his and VMRO-DPMNE’s stand. “Mickoski is pretending to be concerned. However, he shouldn’t worry. The SDSM-led government works responsibly and in the citizens’ interest. It has secured funds for reconstruction and construction of new schools, including the Tetovo one mentioned by him,” the ruling party stressed.
