PM Zoran Zaev addressed the Ilinden Uprising celebration in Pelince, appealing to citizens to vote ‘Yes’ at the 30 September referendum. “I call on you to proudly say ‘yes’ and seize the opportunities offered by the EU. To say ‘yes’ to NATO, to recognised and affirmed Macedonian identity, culture and language. It is time that Macedonia create history. This is our chance and we shall give the answer jointly,” stated Zaev. He said the citizens did not need a trapped state, crime and political mafia, adding in this way the offers for darkness and demands for amnesty of crime will be ended. “Enough of nonbeing. We choose future,” the PM said.
