On Wednesday, the State Election Commission (SEC) once again said it didn’t have competence to decide on additional Deputy Finance Minister Gordana Dimitrieska Kochoska’s request. Members explained that they didn’t have authority to assess the legality of employment acts, that is, the issued consents for employment in the public sector, as well as in state-owned companies. In the conclusion he read at the session, President Oliver Derkoski said the SEC couldn’t decide because those consents didn’t concern the organisation of the election process. The same day, the SEC was visited by caretaker PM Oliver Spasovski, who was accompanied by several members of the Cabinet. They discussed the issue of organisation of the election process.
