“We have principled talks and an agreement for participation in the elections. We expect for us, later on, to function as the future government on the basis of that agreement,” VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski said on Wednesday regarding his party’s coalition with junior partners.
According to him, the parties that are part of his coalition now have recognised good things in Platform #1198. The same day, SDSM leader Dimitar Kovacevski said his party and its coalition partners had signed the coalition deal.
“The winning pro-EU coalition, after the elections end, will be the leader in reform processes and committed to completing EU talks by 2028 and to membership by 2030,” he pointed out.
Wednesday also saw Stevco Jakimovski’s GROM form a coalition with Ljupco Ristovski’s INTEGRA and Samka Ibraimoski’s Party for Total Emancipation of Roma. When it comes to DUI, its coalition now includes also the Democratic Party of Turks.
