Wednesday’s meeting between PM and SDSM leader Zoran Zaev and Alliance for Albanians leader Ziadin Sela over support in the presidential race was postponed. Sela had gotten angry because of the revocation of the competences of Gostivar Mayor Arben Taravari, who is also the Alliance for Albanians Sec Gen, in the field of education. According to Zaev, there is room for a new meeting with Sela. The inter-party consultations will continue on Thursday with BIlall Kasami’s BESA. “I understand the revolt. I’m glad that we talked on the phone with Ziadin Sela and we will likely find another means of communication that will converge towards this important decision for the country. I remain an optimist,” Zaev stated.
