Foreign Affairs Minister Bujar Osmani attended on Tuesday the online informal meeting of the General Affairs Council of the EU, which was chaired by German Minister of Europe Michael Roth. In his address, Osmani said that the European future would be unimaginable without the Western Balkans included in it. “When we talk about the future of North Macedonia and the rest of the Western Balkans, we talk about the future of the young generations which have the right to a better life and decent conditions to stay, work and create in their own countries. The mutual European future is the only way to once and for all resolve all conflicts that keep the Western Balkans apart,” Osmani said. The EU ministers reaffirmed the necessity for further improvement of the cooperation and coordination in order to cushion the social and economic influences from the COVID-19 pandemic.
