VMRO-DPMNE Reiterates Criticism of Interior Ministry

At a press-conference on Monday, VMRO-DPMNE alleged Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski and police had reacted too late regarding the case of Vanja Gjorcevska.

MP Igor Janusev said: “The main and essential questions for Spasovski are: “When did the investigation find out about the perpetrators of the monstrous murders and were they hiding and not taking any action due to the OSCE Summit? Why did Spasovski’s police react too late? Is it normal for them, over such a devastating case, to inform the public about the tragic events by issuing a pale press-release on Sunday at 9 pm? What are they hiding?

Why did they need time from publishing the news to the holding of the press- conference? At the Skopje Internal Affairs Sector, it is officially registered that it’s about [Ljupco Palevski] Palco as early as five days ago! Why weren’t any activities taken for five days over that information? The Interior Ministry rebutted the VMRO-DPMNE MP’s “lies”.

BESA, too, called on Spasovski and Deputy Minister Nazim Bushi, too, to resign, citing, at least, moral reasons.
