A conference titled “Strengthening of the Capacities of Coordinative Centres for Integrative Border-crossings’ Management” was held on Monday in Skopje, attended by representatives of customs administrations of Macedonia, Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Greece, Kosovo, Romania and Turkey. The conference was open by the PM Zoran Zaev. “In the modern world, in order to have maximum efficiency of free trade and transit of goods and people, then we need even more efficient measures for struggle against organised crime, including corruption, illegal migration, illegal weapon trade, smuggling of drugs, human trafficking etc. We are ready to provide our full support for dealing with all these challenges at the borders in the 21st century, especially because the West Balkans are a form of a gate leading towards Europe,” PM Zaev said.
