Osmani presents Plan 18’s draft Version before NGOs and VMRO-DPMNE

Judicial reforms are one of the dominant sectors in Plan 18, whose draft version was presented on Friday by Deputy PM for European Affairs Bujar Osmani before NGO sector members. It will continue to focus on the basic pillars of Plan 3-6-9, which, in addition to judiciary, includes reforms in public administration and security services, but will also focus on other issues, including media’s role, the fight against corruption and organised crime, civil society’s role and freedom of speech. “With Plan 3-6-9, a framework was created, the strategies were adopted, with the action plans, with tens of laws that need to reform the system, while with Plan 18, the adoption of the laws continues, but it will contain all recommendations from the EC Report,” he explained. The same day, Osmani presented the report before VMRO-DPMNE, which said it had expressed at the meeting with the Deputy PM serious remarks about the realisation of reforms from Plan 3-6-9, highlighting “the failures in all essential areas”.
