PPO files Bill of Indictment against Judge Pancevski

The Basic Public Prosecution (PPO) filed a bill of indictment against the former President of the Criminal Court in Skopje Vladimir Pancevski, charging him for abuse of his official position and manipulation with the AKMIS system for distribution of court cases among judges. According to PPO, Pancevski between January 2013 and September 2016 influenced the system by ordering court employees who had access to it to distribute the cases outside of the time frame predicted for distribution, giving directive which case to be distributed to which specific judge. In this way, Pancevski affected the distribution of 48 cases, among which 41 from the Public Prosecution for Organised Crime and 2 from the Special Public Prosecution.
