Sekerinska: We Must Not Risk Our Integration in NATO

Chief of Staff of the Army of Macedonia (ARM) General-major Vasko Gjurcinovski, joined by Defence Minister Radmila Sekerinska provided a briefing on the current conditions in ARM to President of Macedonia and Supreme Commander of ARM Stevo Pendarovski. During the meeting, the interlocutors also discussed the process for adoption of the Draft-law on Defence in the Parliament, which is disputed by the opposition due to the usage of the constitutional name of the state, Republic of North Macedonia. “We are ready to do everything we can in order to eliminate the risks over our integration in NATO. The process for integration in NATO must not be used neither in party negotiations, nor in the accusations they trade in the pre-electoral campaigns,” Sekerinska said.
