The Government of Macedonia adopted at a session held on Tuesday a regulation related to the curfew for the upcoming prolonged weekend. According to the regulation, the curfew on 1, 2 and 3 May 2020 will start every day at 14:00 and will end at 05:00 the next day. When it comes to the specific age groups for these three days, citizens over age of 67 will be allowed to move in public between 05:00 and 11:00 a.m., while citizens under age of 18 will be allowed to move in public between 12:00 and 14:00. From the government they remind the citizens that the regulation for compulsory usage of protective masks or scarves which cover the mouth and the nose in public still remains, i.e. citizens that will be caught in public places without cover over their faces will have to pay a fine, 20 euros for natural entities and 2,000 euros for legal entities. Citizens must have their mouth and nose covered when moving in groups in pubic, or in supermarkets, green markets, banks, post offices and other public surfaces, except in cases when they keep a distance between each other greater than 2 metres.
