At the Police Centre in Gjorce Petrov, on Thursday, US Ambassador Kate Marie Byrnes handed over two donations to Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski a donation for the Ministry worth more than 460,000 dollars. As Spasovski explained, the first one is medical equipment and for personal protection of the Ministry’s Rapid Deployment Unit members, worth around 250,000 dollars, from the US Army, while the second, worth 210,000 dollars, is for the Ministry’s Computer Crime Sector, from the Anti-Terrorism Assistance Programme. The donations, according to the Minister, once again indicate the togetherness when it comes to Macedonia achieving its strategic goal. The Ambassador added that the event confirmed the partnership between Washington and Skopje.
