Ruskovska’s Appeal to be Examined by CPP on Wednesday

The Council of Public Prosecutors of North Macedonia (CPP) is set to examine on Wednesday the appeal filed by Head of the Public Prosecutor’s Office for Organised Crime (BPPOOC) Vilma Ruskovska. Ruskovska’s appeal is put up on the daily order of CPP on their 63^rd session scheduled for Wednesday morning. Ruskovska filed the appeal over the decision for her suspension by Public Prosecutor Ljubomir Joveski over alleged irregularities in the search of the office of former Director of the Finance Police Department Arafat Muaremi on 18 July 2022. Joveski suspended Ruskovska only temporary in order to prevent her from influencing the investigation against her and another two prosecutors from BPPOOC. If CPP rejects Ruskovska’s appeal, she may as well be facing dismissal from her position at BPPOOC.
