VMRO-DPMNE Addresses Demands for Snap Election and Anti-Crisis Measures

The central board of VMRO-DPMNE held a session on Thursday evening at which they adopted demands directed towards the government. VMRO-DPMNE Vice-president Vlado Misajlovski presented to the media the three demands of the party. “First, we demand organisation of a parliamentary election no later than the spring of 2023 as he only way out of the economic and political crises, and we voice support to the MPs from our party to not accept or endorse changes to the Constitution by a Bulgarian dictate. The second demand is for the government to immediately adopt the anti-crisis measures our party proposed recently, which include postponing of the progressive taxation, prevention of the increase of energy prices, introduction of ‘weekends without value-added tax’, increased subsidies for student meals etc.,” Misajlovski said, adding that if the government does not accept these demands, the party will discuss further actions.
