COVID-19: 87 New Cases, Seven New Cured Patients and One New Death

Over the past 24 hours, 87 new COVID-19 cases have been registered, Health Minister Venko Filipce said on Tuesday. It was added that the same period had seen 987 new people tested, five new cured patients, and one new death. The number of active cases in the country is 1,424. Among the new cases is a City of Skopje Education Sector employee. As a result, 28 colleagues of his are in self-isolation. Also on Tuesday, the Medical Chamber said two of its employees had tested positive. As the Chamber explained, all other employees have tested negative. According to the Chamber, it’s a problem that part of doctors don’t believe that COVID-19 exists and therefore don’t report patients for testing. Instead, they treat them in domestic conditions.
