On Monday, PM Zoran Zaev told the Top Tema TV show that he hoped a deal over the name would be reached on Tuesday. “Our final goal is for us to reach a fear deal that will be based on facts,” he said, among other things. The PM reiterated the already known stand that there will be no European Union and NATO membership without a resolution to the dispute with the southern neighbour. As he also reiterated, a process to inform the political stakeholders will follow the potential deal on which he and his Greek counterpart, Alexis Tsipras, will agree, while the steps to implement the deal will be coordinated together with the Greek side.
