Criminal Charges against two Bitola Citizens for Incidents at Ilinden Celebration

The Public Prosecution Office in Prilep filed criminal charges against two citizens from Bitola, M.D. (24) and Gj. D. (19) for the incidents that occurred during the Ilinden celebration in Krusevo on 2 August 2018. “On 2 August 2018, the suspects were present at the celebration at Meckin Kamen in Krusevo as a part of a group of supporters of several football clubs. During the ceremony, the suspects chanted offensive words along with the crowd towards the state officials, thus committing a punishable act “support of hatred, discord and impatiens based on race, ethnicity, religion or other determination”,” writes the announcement of the Public Prosecution Office in Prilep.
