VMRO-DPMNE’s Mickoski Comments on Several Topics

On Thursday, VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski called on the Government to set the date of parliamentary and presidential elections.

“I have information that PM Dimitar Kovacevski, DUI leader Ali Ahmeti, and First Deputy PM Artan Grubi will have a luncheon today,” he noted.

Mickoski once again described the processes as key to the country’s future. He once again presented the stand that the election processes should be held between Eid al-Fitr and Orthodox Easter, as well as the position that there will not be constitutional changes “under the current conditions”.

Asked whether he would meet European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen during her visit to Skopje, he said that everyone who had good intentions was welcome.

“I will talk to everyone who wants to talk,” the VMRO-DPMNE leader stated, adding that there were many topics that his party considered much more important than the constitutional changes one. Oliver Spasovski’s stance that Skopje is a safe city, Mickoski described it as embarrassing.
