DW: Gruevski left Macedonia via Illegal Border Crossing

The service of Deutsche Welle (DW) in Macedonian reports that former PM Nikola Gruevski has left Macedonia illegally, through an illegal border crossing. As DW reports, Gruevski cannot be seen on any of the recordings from the security cameras of the border crossings on the border between Macedonia and Albania. The recordings from the Albanian control points are yet to be examined. DW also reveals that Gruevski has sent a letter to at least 20 different ambassadors, in which he explains on 20 pages why he sees the judicial procedures against him as political prosecution, and only received response from the Hungarian Ambassador and the ambassador of another country. In meantime, five requests for stripping Gruevski from his MP immunity, and they will be discussed about at the session of the Parliamentary Committee on Rules of Procedure, and Mandatory-Immunity Issues. Gruevski was sentenced to two years in prison in the “Tank” case processed by the Special Public Prosecution (SPO).
