Commenting on the decision about enrollment of first-graders made at the session of the Government the previous day, the Minister of Education and Science, Arber Ademi, urged on Wednesday parents to get vaccinate their children. “The situation will be monitored. If necessary, in addition to field vaccination, points for vaccination will be opened at schools in the interest of public health,” he stressed. According to Ademi, considering the measles epidemic, a serious approach is needed by all institutions. “I call on all parents to vaccinate their children and to help and contribute, with this approach, to public health,” the Minister said. According to the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights, it’s justified for citizens to be legally obliged when it comes to vaccination against diseases whose prevention is in the interest of society.
