In the last 24 hours, 72 new COVID-19 cases have been registered, the Health Ministry said on Wednesday. It was added that the same period had seen 793 new tests, 54 new cured patients, and three deaths. The number of active cases in the country is currently 1,905. According to the public Health Institute, the number of deaths from 31 August to 6 September fell by 42.9% when compared to the figures concerning the previous week. Several associations of patients have sent a list of proposals to Minister Venko Filipce concerning the issue of people with chronic diseases returning to work. They hope that they will be accepted. Filipce will hold a meeting with the representatives on Thursday.
