Macedonian delegation Attends NATO Summit in London

A Macedonian delegation headed by PM Zoran Zaev and including Deputy PMs Bujar Osmani and Radmila Sekerinska and Foreign Minister Nikola Dimitrov, is attending the NATO Summit that takes place in London, UK. On the first day of the Summit, PM Zaev attended and addressed the conference “NATO Engages”, focusing on the latest decision against Macedonia at the EU Summit in Brussels this October. “Despite the fact that we managed to overcome our disputes with Bulgaria and Greece, and that all 28 EU member-states confirmed that we implemented all reforms required for start of membership negotiations, such a decision was not reached. We were very disappointed with the unfair decision reached this October in Brussels, but we are not giving up on our EU agenda. We proceed implementing reforms, and we hope EU will correct this injustice as soon as possible,” PM Zaev said. The PM Zaev also met the Secretary General of NATO, to whom he gifted a bottle of high-quality Macedonian wine. “The Sec Gen Stoltenberg is one of the greatest friends of North Macedonia. He told us that NATO keeps its word, and he was right; our country is about to become the 30th NATO member-state. With this, we are realising the dream of generations of our citizens,” PM Zaev wrote on Twitter.
