No New Coronavirus Patients in the Country

On Friday, two patients that voluntarily came into the Stip hospital for examination after returning from trip to Italy, broke a window in their escape from the hospital. The man is Macedonian citizen from Vinica, while the woman is a Croatian citizen. Later the police found the patients in the man’s home in Vinica, after which they attempted to return them back to the hospital. The results for both patients, and for woman tested Saturday morning, came back negative. On Saturday, Health Minister Venko Filipce notified the public that the three patients, among which was the driver of the bus that travelled from Italy, all tested negative for presence of coronavirus. The bus driver will remain in home isolation for a 14-day period, after which the doctors will determine whether re-examination is necessary. Concluding with Sunday evening, there have been no new coronavirus cases in the country, barring the first patient.
