Defence Minister Radmila Sekerinska was a guest of the European Policy Centre on Wednesday. Via videoconference, she talked about the geopolitical challenges for the EU and Western Balkans. According to her, the Bulgaria issue has discouraged even the most pro-European part of the population in North Macedonia. As Sekerinska added, without a sense of urgency over the integration process, the Bulgaria issue may turn into a new “frozen conflict”, similar to the one with Greece, in addition to being one of the most severe blows to the pro-EU mood in the country.
