VMRO-DPMNE submits Material for PPO law

VMRO-DPMNE’s working group has submitted to the government’s team the material for the Public Prosecutor’s Office (PPO) law. MP Antonio Milososki says that it includes changes arising from the leaders’ meeting. He expects an answer in 1-2 days. “We propose a standard model of the PPO without hybrid solutions,” the MP points out, adding that the methodology for election of a Prosecutor should see the opposition, Parliament and the Committee on Election and Appointment Issues included. The Deputy PM for European Affairs, Bujar Osmani, is optimistic that a resolution to the PPO issue will be found soon.
