The Parliament of Macedonia started on Monday the discussion which is to conclude with a vote over the immunity of MP and former Agriculture Minister Ljupco Dimovski, who was arrested on Friday along with three other former Agriculture Ministers. The debate started with the speech of MP Pavle Bogoevski, the President of the Parliamentary Committee on Mandatory-Immunity Issues, which on Saturday decided to suggest the Parliament to strip Dimovski from his MP immunity. “I would like to point out that the claims by the opposition that the Parliament participates in what they call the political prosecution of Dimovski. In fact, we would like the court to do its job without any obstructions,” Bogoevski said. After his address, the Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi interrupted the session and said it will be postponed for the following days.
