On Thursday, the Russian Embassy in Skopje on its official Facebook page alleged there had been provocations against Russia’s Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov.
It posted a link to a Telegram post by Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova showing photos of papers reading that Lavrov’s part of the table is “reserved for NATO”.
According to her, the tables at the hall for meetings clearly manifest what Lavrov was talking about in his speech: “under US pressure, the OSCE logic is being replaced with the aggressive ideology of NATO”.
There hasn’t been an explanation whether the handwritten reservation was found at the part of the table for the Lavrov and the Russian delegation and whether North Macedonia’s organisers of the meeting really used such papers.
